SCOTT ARMSTRONG
President
Scott is president of Advocacy, Inc., a lobbying, communications and media/public relations firm operating in New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and across the globe. He is a 30-year veteran of the local, state, federal and international legislative, political and media relations scenes and has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies, not-for-profit organizations and major trade associations. Scott's experience spans the domestic and international business spectrum from economic development, defense, pharmaceuticals, the outdoor recreation and sportsmen industry, transportation, energy, manufacturing, insurance and not-for-profits.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the State University of New York College at Geneseo and a Masters in Professional Studies in Campaign Management from George Washington University. He is the immediate past president of Longhouse Council, Boy Scouts of America, and holds numerous positions in Scouting from the local to national levels. He was a commissioned Infantry (Airborne) officer in the United States Army Reserve.
